What is a chiropractic?

Chiropractic techniques were developed by Daniel David Palmer in America in 1895. It is now one of the largest health care professions in the world, the third largest after Orthodox medicine and Denistry. Chiropractic does not involve the use of drugs or surgery. It helps the nervous system to function properly by ensuring the skeleton is aligned correctly.

Chiropractors check for misalignments that could put the body out of its natural balance. They work with the patient to create a suitable treatment plan that meets the individual's needs. By removing these misalignments, mobility can be improved and pain alleviated promoting natural healing and health.

There are over 250 types of Chiropractic Technique in the world. At Cheiron Chiropractic the main technique used is the McTimoney Method.

Chiropractic is a health profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health. There is an emphasis on manual treatment including spinal manipulation or adjustment
